Of course you mcan. Discus are very graceful and peaceful fish. Just make sure you properly introduce your discus to the tank and other tank. Good Luck!
These are NOT nearly as peaceful as people make them out to be– as Cichlids, they are very capable of doing a bit of damage. Unless you’ve got several smaller Discus to add at the moment, I really wouldn’t recommend it. Adding small fish to an established hierarchy of larger fish rarely ends up well unless there are enough new fish to distribute the aggression upon. I had the unfortunate experience of having a single smaller Discus getting beat up by the larger ones until I got a group of 6 smaller Discus.
