Frage von : Putting bamboos in a discus fish tank?
Hello! I have put a single bamboo in my discus tank so that it can use the nitrate as the fertilizer while its leaves are out of the water ,but the roots reaches to the bottom of the tank. Would you guide me what the right way is to do?

I am not allowed to have tropical freshwater or marine and I was wondering if my only other option was coldwater

All 3 of thee types of fish will require warm waters. If you can not have a tropical tank none of these will work.

Hello! my tank dimention is: 1meter length/35cm width/49cm height. Would you tell me how much the power of the filter should be? Because I don’t want the filter absorb all the food at once while the discus fish need the water stable (as far as I know).Thank you!

That tank is not big enough for discus that is around a 20 gallon tank you should be looking at 55 gallons plus for discus and I recommend Fluval filters

Frage von : My discus fish are laying on their side on the bottom of tank all day?
Is this normal behaviour? Only got them Friday evening but they seemed to be settling in ok yesterday they were swimming about upright. Then today they haven’t really moved, just laying on their side.
Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.

I think first you should give him both for a while, then in small proportions blood worms.
But, the fish will eat if is hungry.

I have a pigeon blood and a blue diamond, and have just produced eggs. I’m hoping all goes well with them? Are they classed as i proven pair when they have raised their fry?

If they have layed fertile eggs then I would say they are a Breeding pair, but actual surviving fry is definitely a bonus.

With fish it’s very hard but what I know is male are normally nicer colours and brighter and male fish might be smaller then the female. If I was you I’d go on google and type in their name and care sheet and it will tell you everything you need to know. Hope that helps
