In my 10 years of fish keeping my dream has always been to keep Discus, and that dream became a reality when my Bluewave internal filter broke. I renovated the aquarium and bought a Tetratec EX700 filter and freed some well needed room in my Cayman Scenic Professional 80. Now the aquarium is enchanted by these graceful fish, I got my two paired couple from a good friend for free, one is a wild caught and the other one with the stripes is a home bred one, the blue stripped one is the male and the wild caught brown variant is a female they are both over 16 cm in diameter and are over 2 years old. Water Temperature is 28 degrees Celsius, and pH is 7.0. Aquarium: Cayman Professional 80 Sceneic. Size 83 x 52,5 x 36/46 cm — full capacity 45 gallons. Fish species living in current tank: – Otocinclus affinis – Ancistrus dolichopterus – Symphysodon aequifasciatus axelrodi (Female) – Symphysodon aequifasciatus (Male) – Hypancistrus sp.
